Reset qucken cloud data

I ran into an issue with an integration with quicken and one of my accounts.   I forgot to document the reason for my issue, but it included a closed account and duplicated transactions occurring in the replaced account every time I would sync.

I was able to move transaction between the accounts but when the sync occurred, I got duplicates.

If you are moving transactions within the same data file

  1. Click on Tools on the top menu bar, then select Account List.
  2. Double-click the account from which you want to move the transaction, to open its register.
  3. Click the transaction to select it, click the Edit gear icon in the transaction (on the right side of the entry), and then choose Move Transaction(s). If you need to select multiple transactions, hold the Shift key as you select them.

Move Transactions Between Quicken Accounts

  1. Choose the Move to account from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click OK.
So once I got the data straight, I needed to get my quicken cloud to reset completely and reload based on my quicken on my pc.

After you've set up your Quicken desktop software, you might decide (for whatever reason) that you want to reset the data on your Quicken Cloud.

Resetting your Cloud data will erase your synced account information stored on our servers. That same data will become immediately inaccessible on your mobile devices, and all of the alerts you've set up using these accounts will stop. No data will be deleted from your Quicken desktop data file.

  1. Click the Mobile & Alerts tab.
  2. Click edit profile. The Preferences dialog displays.
  3. If prompted, enter your password. Depending on how you've set things up, this may either be your Password Vault password, or your Quicken ID password.
  4. In the left pane, select Mobile & Web.
  5. In the right pane, under Quicken Mobile & Web, click Reset your cloud data.
  6. In the Reset Your Cloud Data dialog, type yes, and then click Reset to confirm the reset.
