Pingdom.com WebSite Uptime and Response

My hosting service www.arvixe.com has some scheduled job capability but they don't really work.  Tech support is so-so but the price is right.
After weeks of going back and forth with their scheduler job to 'check' my website that never functioned, they turned me onto www.pingdom.com which has tools to check response time and you can get a free account to automatically check one site. 
Also by checking my site, it keeps it in the application pool so the initial page load is fast fast fast!
