how to remove fake mcafee virus notifications from edge

Sadly I got caught on a website that I clicked on a prompt that installed a change on my MS Edge browser that kept popping up fake virus notifications.

Basically in edge

go to the 3 dots upper right corner

then go to settings

then in the search box type 'notifications'

find the first highlighed one with a bell (under permissions)

Under Allow, you can find the offending site and click remove
