Firefox will not launch citrix receiver/client

Every once in a while, especially after firefox version 30, the citrix client looks like it wants to launch for my remote connection but nothing comes up.  I have to reset the plugin to always activate (vs ask to activate)

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1005650 f you are using Firefox 30.0 and above and citrix is not working in browser type (about:addons) then go to plugins and change citrix to Always active that will fix it
