Delete Netflix Viewing Activity

If you’re a Netflix subscriber, you’ve probably watched a movie or TV show that you’d rather not appear in your view history. There’s a simple way to remove unwanted viewing activity from your Netflix account.
Your previously watched items don’t just show up in your history–you’ll see them in various places around Netflix, such as the "Continue Watching” items:
You have to use a web browser to manage your Netflix profile. Even if you use the Netflix mobile app on your phone or tablet, when you tap on the link to open your account details, it will open your account in a browser window. This means, if you use an iPhone, it will open in Safari, if you use an Android device, it will open in Chrome, or whatever your default browser may be.
From the desktop, head to Netflix.com and click on your profile name to access the dropdown menu. Click "Your Account” to view your account settings.
Now scroll down to the "My Profile” section and click on "Viewing activity”.
Here, you’ll see a complete list of all your viewing activity. When you want to remove something from the list, simply click the "X” to the right of each item.
If you’ve been using Netflix for awhile, then this list is likely to be pretty long. The good thing, however, is that Netflix won’t ask you to confirm whether or not you want to remove a title. This means you will be able to go through and delete as much of your viewing history fairly quickly.
If you want to delete an item from the "Continue Watching” list, you’ll need to remove the entire series from the My Activity page.

It can take up to 24 hours for a selection to be removed from all your devices. It usually doesn’t take that long, though, and you’ll most likely see it disappear from your viewing activity on Netflix.com almost immediately.

That’s all there is to deleting your Netflix viewing activity. Now you know the next time you watch something that’s somewhat embarrassing, you can easily remove it without anyone the wiser.
